CAUTION: Because one of the two array controllers is still electrically disconnected from the ProLiant Storage System, it should be inactive (gray) after dissolving the controller pair. You should not reconfigure the cabling of the controllers until the controller pair has been dissolved. Now you can perform the desired upgrade or reconfiguration.
