Cancel a print job A print job can be canceled from: ● A program ● A print queue ● The Cancel button NOTE When a print job appears to have started (it shows in the queue), cancel it from the workstation. Considerations when canceling printing ● If the MFP has not started printing, cancel the job within the program that sent the print job. ● If the print job is waiting in a print queue or print spooler in Windows 2000 or Windows XP, try to delete the job from the print spooler. ● If the print job is already printing, press Cancel. The MFP finishes printing any pages that are already moving through the MFP and deletes the remainder of the print job. ● If more than one print job is in memory, press Cancel once for each job after the job starts printing.
