Adding a Configuration from a File When you replace a controller or when you want to duplicate an existing storage configuration on a new controller, you can add a saved configuration to the controller. Warning: When you add a saved configuration to a replacement controller, make sure that the number and size of the physical disks connected to the controller is exactly the same as it was when the configuration was saved. To add a saved configuration, follow these steps: 1. Select a controller icon in the left panel of the Intel® RAID Web Console 2 window. 2. Select Go To -> Controller -> Load Configuration. Figure 78. Add Saved Configuration A Warning message displays. 3. Click Yes. 4. When the Open dialog box is displayed, select the configuration file and click Open. 5. Adding a Configuration from a File
When you replace a controller or when you want to duplicate an existing storage configuration
on a new controller, you can add a saved configuration to the controller.
Warning:
When you add a saved configuration to a replacement controller, make sure that the number and size
of the physical disks connected to the controller is exactly the same as it was when the configuration
was saved.
To add a saved configuration, follow these steps:
1.
Select a controller icon in the left panel of the Intel
®
RAID Web Console 2 window.

Go To
->
Controller
->
Load Configuration
.
