Status page The printer can print different types of the status page-the user (normal) status page and the service status page. This section exclusively describes information obtainable with the service status page. For information on the user (normal) status page, refer to the printer's User's Manual. Information on the service page include various settings for the printer, service statistics, etc. To print a service status page, proceed as follows: Printing the service status page To print a service status page, using the MENU key. Or, have a PC running MS-DOS and proceed as follows: 1. Connect the printer to the PC via the parallel interface. 2. Ensure that the printer is ready to print. 3. At the DOS prompt, type: echo !R! Information on the service page include various settings for the printer, service statistics, etc. To
print a service status page, proceed as follows:
Printing the service status page
To print a service status page, using the
MENU
key. Or, have a PC running MS-DOS and proceed
as follows:
1. Connect the printer to the PC via the parallel interface.
2. Ensure that the printer is ready to print.
3. At the DOS prompt, type:
echo !R! STAT 1; EXIT; >lpt1:
