Interface indicator The LCD message display also shows the interface that is currently used in the from of the following abbreviations: Message PAR USB SER OPT --- Meaning Standard bidirectional parallel interface Standard USB interface Optional serial interface (RS-232C) Optional network interface card No interface is currently used.
