4069-5XX/7XX Duplex Motor 1. Remove the duplex front cover door. 2. Gently disconnect the cables from the duplex board. Warning: avoid damage to the cables and connectors. 3. Remove the four mounting screws from the left and right return guides and remove the guides. 4. Remove the four mounting screws on the right side of the duplex frame assembly. 5. Position the duplex assembly on its side. 6. Gently release the center drive deflector assembly latch from the bottom front left side of the duplex assembly. 7. Remove the center drive deflector assembly and the frame assembly from the duplexer. 8. Remove the two duplex motor mounting screws and remove the motor. Note: Pay attention to cable routing to avoid pinching or cutting wires during reassembly. Ensure cables are securely placed into the cable retaining tabs. Do the adjustment "Duplex Motor Drive Belts" on page 4-2 whenever you remove or replace the duplex motor. 4-22 Service Manual
