You can define your own characters and assign codes in these ranges to them. • Set n to 1 to enable printing of characters in the ranges 0 to 31 and 128 to 159. • Set n to 0 to disable printing of characters in the ranges 0 to 31 and 128 to 159. • When you specify the value for n you can use the character codes for '0' and '1' (48 and 49) instead of 0 and 1 if you wish. Character codes in the range 160 to 255 are now italic characters. • Set n to 1 to select the extended character table. Character codes in the range 128 to 255 are now foreign language and graphics characters. • You can still print italic characters using the Select Italic Mode, Esc 4, command even when you have selected the graphics character table.
