Chapter 5 Administrator Settings 3. Address Book Settings In "Address Book Settings" of the administrator settings, you can register entries in Shared Address Book available to all users. For details on the Address Book Settings screen, see "6. Scanning Procedures" - "Address Selection Screen" on p. 69. Only Shared Address Book can be managed in this screen. To manage My Address Book provided for each user, press the [Edit] button in the address column of the user list in the User Administration screen. ❏ Registering New Addresses If an address to which you want to send an image file is not registered in the address book, you can register a new address. For details on how to register a new address, see "7. Registering and Editing Addresses" - "Registering a New Address" on p. 78. Hint • The number of addresses that can be registered to Shared Address Book (My Address Book) is up to 1,000 in combination with the total number of addresses included in Shared Job Button (My Job Button). • Up to 100 addresses can be registered in a group. • The available settings vary depending on the type of address (Email, Shared folder, FTP Server, Fax, or Group). ❏ Modifying Addresses Modify an address when there is a send error because the information of the transfer destination registered for the address is wrong or has been changed.
