Configuring Administrator Settings Enter the administrator password and log in to configure administrator settings. ❏ Logging In to the Administrator Settings Follow the procedure below to configure the [Device name] and [IP address] needed to connect the scanner to a network. 1. Press [Administrator setting]. 2. Press [OK] to display the [Administrator setting] screen. The [Administrator Password] input box appears. Hint In the initial state, the administrator password is set to the character string printed in the password field on the rear label of the device. If the password field is blank, no administrator password has been set. 34

Configuring Administrator Settings
Enter the administrator password and log in to configure administrator settings.

Logging In to the Administrator Settings
Follow the procedure below to configure the [Device
name] and [IP address] needed to connect the scanner to a
network.
1.
Press [Administrator setting].
The [Administrator Password] input box appears.
2.
Press [OK] to display the [Administrator setting]
screen.
Hint
In the initial state, the administrator password is set to the
