About ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400 ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400 is software that allows you to manage multiple ScanFront scanners at one time. To use this software, install it on a computer connected to the same network as the ScanFront scanners. IMPORTANT Set [Allow remote operation] (see p. 156) to [ON] before using ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400. When using ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400, the following operations can be performed for ScanFront scanners on the same network. ● Checking the current status of the ScanFront and network configuration information ● Configuring the ScanFront ● Checking connections ● Updating software ● Backing up and restoring configuration data ● Importing and exporting user data Hint When using ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400, make sure to match the date and time settings on the computer and ScanFront 400. Configure the date and time settings on the computer and ScanFront so that the settings on both match when converted to Greenwich Mean Time. 168
