❏ Backing Up All Settings You can back up the ScanFront settings. IMPORTANT The following settings are not included in the backup data because they are specific to the ScanFront. • IP address • Device name • Touch panel adjustment values 1. Press [Backup All Settings]. The Backup screen appears. 2. Enter the save location information. Chapter 5 Administrator Settings 3. Press [OK]. Backing up starts. When the process is complete, a message appears. 4. Press [Yes]. ❏ Restoring All Settings You can restore backed up data to the ScanFront. IMPORTANT Set [Allow remote operation] (see p. 156) to [ON] before performing restoration. If this is not set to [ON] before restoration, information for certain settings, including the language, time zone, and SNMP, will not be applied. 1. Press [Restore All Settings]. The Restore screen appears. 2. Enter the save location information, and then specify the backed up data. Hint • Press [Connection test] to check the connection for the entered host name. • Press [Browse] to display the Shared folder screen and then specify the host and shared folder. 148

Backing Up All Settings
You can back up the ScanFront settings.
IMPORTANT
The following settings are not included in the backup data
because they are specific to the ScanFront.

Press [Backup All Settings].
The Backup screen appears.
2.
Enter the save location information.
Hint
Press [Connection test] to check the connection for the
entered host name.
Press [Browse] to display the Shared folder screen and then
specify the host and shared folder.

Press [OK].
Backing up starts.
When the process is complete, a message appears.

Press [Yes].
Restoring All Settings
You can restore backed up data to the ScanFront.
IMPORTANT

restoration, information for certain settings, including the
