Chapter 7 ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400 [Server Address] The operation mode of ScanFront (Standard Mode, Web Application Mode, Not connected yet) is displayed, and if operating in Web Application Mode, the address of the connection destination server is displayed. Double-click the address of the server to display the [Proxy server] dialog box, where you can check the address of the proxy server and current settings. [Waiting Time till Display Off] Displays the wait time before the display turns off. [Waiting Time till Low Power Mode] Displays the wait time before switching to Low Power mode. [Web application] Displays the Web application version. Until the connection has been confirmed from ScanFront, "Not connected yet" is displayed. When operating in Web application mode, the Web application version cannot be acquired, and is displayed as follows. If you have switched to Web application mode after acquiring the version: "Last acquired version number (Web application mode)" If you have switched to Web application mode before acquiring the version: "Not connected yet (Web Application Mode)" [OS version] The OS version is displayed. [Web service] The Web service version is displayed. ❏ Entering Passwords By selecting a check box at the far left of each row in the ScanFront list and clicking the [Enter the password] button to display the [Password] dialog box, you can change the administrator password and device password registered to ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400. After you enter the new administrator password and device password and click [OK], the [Password] dialog box will close, and the administrator password and device password registered to ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400 will be changed. Hint If multiple ScanFront scanners are selected, a dialog box for changing the password of the first selected ScanFront in the list appears. A dialog box for changing the password of the next ScanFront appears when you click [OK]. To configure the same password for all the ScanFront scanners, select the [Do this for the all password input] check box before clicking [OK]. 174

ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400
[Server Address]
The operation mode of ScanFront (Standard Mode, Web
Application Mode, Not connected yet) is displayed, and if
operating in Web Application Mode, the address of the
connection destination server is displayed. Double-click
the address of the server to display the [Proxy server]
dialog box, where you can check the address of the proxy
server and current settings.
[Waiting Time till Display Off]
Displays the wait time before the display turns off.
[Waiting Time till Low Power Mode]
Displays the wait time before switching to Low Power
mode.
[Web application]
Displays the Web application version.
Until the connection has been confirmed from ScanFront,
"Not connected yet" is displayed.
When operating in Web application mode, the Web
application version cannot be acquired, and is displayed as
follows.
If you have switched to Web application mode after
acquiring the version: "Last acquired version number
(Web application mode)"
If you have switched to Web application mode before
acquiring the version: "Not connected yet (Web
Application Mode)"
[OS version]
The OS version is displayed.
[Web service]
The Web service version is displayed.
Entering Passwords
By selecting a check box at the far left of each row in the
ScanFront list and clicking the [Enter the password] button
to display the [Password] dialog box, you can change the
administrator password and device password registered to
ScanFront Administration Tool for SF400.
After you enter the new administrator password and device
password and click [OK], the [Password] dialog box will
close, and the administrator password and device
password registered to ScanFront Administration Tool for
SF400 will be changed.
Hint
If multiple ScanFront scanners are selected, a dialog box for
changing the password of the first selected ScanFront in the list
appears. A dialog box for changing the password of the next
ScanFront appears when you click [OK]. To configure the same
password for all the ScanFront scanners, select the [Do this for
the all password input] check box before clicking [OK].
