Filters File Attributes Filter Use the File Attributes filter to include or exclude specific types of files from a job. Select as many of the following types of file attributes as you want: ■ Hidden-Files not shown in a directory listing. For example, IO.SYS is a hidden file. ■ System-Files that are unique to the machine you are using. ■ Archive-Files whose archive bit is set. ■ Read Only-Files that cannot be modified. ■ Compressed-NetWare system files identified as having a Compressed attribute. File Modified Filters Use the files last modified attribute to include or exclude files, based on the time they were last changed. There are four options from which to choose: ■ Before-Files whose date matches, or whose date is earlier than this date, are included or excluded. ■ After-Files whose date matches, or whose date is later than this date, are included or excluded. ■ Between-Files whose date falls between the two dates are included or excluded from the job. You must specify two dates for this selection. ■ Within-Files whose date falls within the specified time are included or excluded from the job. You must specify the number of days, months, or years. File Created Filters Use the files last created attribute to include or exclude files based on when they were created. There are four options from which to choose: ■ Before-Files whose date matches, or whose date is earlier than, this date is included or excluded. ■ After-Files whose date matches, or whose date is later than, this date is included or excluded. ■ Between-Files whose date falls between the two dates are included or excluded from the job.
