Backup Agent for Open Files Run Before/After Command As The User Name and Password corresponds to the UNIX system of the host server selected, and is required to check the system privileges on that server. The user name and password entered into these fields should not be confused with the BrightStor ARCserve Backup User Name and Password. Job Log Options The log options determine the level of detail that is included in the log report for the operation. The log options can be set in the following windows: Backup, Restore, Compare, Scan, Copy, Count, and Purge. BrightStor ARCserve Backup provides the following log options: ■ Log All Activity-Record all of the activity that occurs while the job is running in the Job Log. ■ Log Summary Only-Record summary information on the job (including source, destination, session number, and totals) and errors. ■ Log Disabled-Do not record any information about this job in the Job Log. Backup Agent for Open Files If the BrightStor® ARCserve® Backup Agent for Open Files is installed on any of your computers, you can manage the BAOF Engine directly from the Backup Manager. 1. In the Backup Manager, go to the Source tab and select a server from the browser in the left pane. 2. If this server has the BAOF Engine installed, right-click the computer and select the following menu items or simply click these items in the Additional Information pane, on the bottom-right of the screen: ■ Configure Open File Agent-This displays the BAOF Configuration screen. From here, you can set various global settings for BAOF on the selected computer. ■ View Open File Agent Status-This displays the BAOF Status screen. This shows which files and groups BAOF is currently processing on the selected computer. ■ View Open File Agent Log File-This displays the Log File Viewer screen. Backup Agent for Open Files is installed on any of
