6Chapter Configuring Devices You can use Device Configuration to configure the backup devices on your server. This application allows you to configure a media library in the Windows environment. From the Configuration menu on the home page, open Device Configuration. When the Welcome screen opens, click Next to continue and go to the screen where you can choose from the following: ■ Tape/Optical Library ■ RAID Device ■ Removable Drive ■ Virtual Library ■ IBM 3494 Library ■ StorageTek ACSLS ■ File System Devices ■ Enable/Disable Devices (for RSM) Note: IBM 3494 Library and StorageTek ACSLS configuration are available only if you installed the BrightStor ARCserve Backup Enterprise Module. To configure or modify the configuration of any of the above environments, choose the option and follow the procedures outlined for that option. Configuring Devices 6-1
