Updating the Firmware and Printer Driver EPSON will occasionally update the P-1000 firmware and add support for additional printers. You can download the latest version from EPSON's Support web site: http://support.epson.com. Instructions for updating the firmware in your P-1000 will be included with the download information. Printing Problems Cannot print. Cause What to do The printer is not supported. See page 39 to make sure your printer is supported. Then select your printer in the Printer Settings screen (page 41). You may need to update the printer driver. See the next section for more information. The printer's power is off. Turn on the printer. The USB cable is not connected correctly. See "Connecting the P-1000 to a Printer" on page 40 and reconnect the P-1000 to the printer. Resetting the P-1000 If the P-1000 locks up (stops working) or you want to restore the default values, you can reset it. Press the RESET button with a thin object.
