Moving the Product Short Distances Moving the Product Long Distances Moving the Product Short Distances If you need to move the product a short distance, such as within the same building, you can roll the product on its casters. Caution: During transportation and storage, follow these guidelines: • Do not roll the product on angled or uneven surfaces. • Leave the ink cartridges installed to prevent drying out the print head. 1. Turn off the product. 2. Unplug the power cable. 3. Disconnect any connected cables. 4. Remove any paper from the product. 5. Close the roll paper cover. 6. Store the paper basket. 174
