3.1 Operating and Managing Scanners Scanner settings management can be implemented in the following ways. • LCD Touch Panel Scanner settings management can be implemented directly via the scanner's touch panel. • Network Scanner Admin Tool Scanner settings management, and updates can be implemented via the network interface by using the network scanner admin tool installed on a personal computer. Settings can be performed for one scanner at a time. • Central Admin Console Scanner settings management, and updates can be implemented via the network interface by using the Central Admin Console installed on a personal computer. Settings can be performed for multiple scanners at a time. In this case, settings made with the Central Admin Console are applied to scanners via a Central Admin Server.
