XĆAxis Assembly Refer to figure 24 ' page 8Ć68 Removal WARNING Switch off the printer and remove the power cord. 1. Remove the following: 1. Right Hand Cover ' page 8Ć21. 2. Window and Top Cover ' page 8Ć15. 3. Service Station Assembly ' page 8Ć26. 4. Left Hand Back Cover. 2. Disconnect the XĆaxis encoder cable (item 1) from the XĆaxis assembly 3. Disconnect the XĆaxis motor cable from position J7 X MOTOR from the electronics module. 4. Remove the XĆaxis motor cable from the cable clamp (item 2). 5. Remove the helical gear (item 4) by removing two TĆ10 screws (item 3). 6. Remove the three TĆ20 screws (item 5) securing the XĆaxis assembly (item 6) to the right hand side chassis. 7.
