Chapter 5 Installing Additional Memory 11. To replace the memory board, hold it in front of its bay, with the component-side down. The end of the board with the connector must point into the memory board bay. 12. Slide the board into the guide rails on either side of the memory board bay. They should clamp onto the sides of the bay and hold the board firmly in place. 14. Reattach the memory access panel to the front of the HP NetServer chassis (Figure 5-6). 15. Push the LCD down into its original position ( Figure 5-6). 16. Reattach the front bezel. See Chapter 3 for details. 43

To replace the memory board, hold it in front of its bay, with the
component-side down. The end of the board with the connector must point
into the memory board bay.
12.
Slide the board into the guide rails on either side of the memory board
bay. Push the board in until it seats in the slot at the rear of the bay.

Close the memory board’s retaining latches. They should clamp onto the
sides of the bay and hold the board firmly in place.

Reattach the memory access panel to the front of the HP NetServer chassis
(Figure 5-6).

Push the LCD down into its original position ( Figure 5-6).

Reattach the front bezel. See Chapter 3 for details.
