Ensure that the metal of the wrist strap contacts your skin. 5. Put on the antistatic wrist strap and place the antistatic mat on a firm surface near the system. Connect the strap and mat to an unpainted metal surface on the system chassis. 6. Remove the server's top cover. See Chapter 3 for details. 7. Check the jumper settings on the processor baseboard. See Figure 7-2.
