2 How to Install and Upgrade Accessories In Your PC Installing Accessory Boards CAUTION Installing Accessory Boards Static electricity can damage electronic components. Turn all equipment off. Don't let your clothes touch the accessory. To equalize the static electricity, rest the accessory bag on top of the computer while you are removing the accessory from the bag. Handle the accessory as little as possible and with care. Accessory Board Slots The PC has four accessory board slots. Rear of PC PCI Slot PCI Slot PCI Slot ISA Slot Accessory Board Connectors • The PCI slots can be used for short 32-bit PCI board (length up to 17.6 cm or 6.93 inches). • The ISA slot can be used for a short 16-bit ISA board. 57
