Creating an IBM Enhanced Diagnostics diskette or CD You can create an IBM Enhanced Diagnostics diskette from the Product Recovery program. You can create an IBM Enhanced Diagnostics diskette or CD from the World Wide Web. Notes: 1. To create and use a diskette or CD, a diskette drive, or a CD or DVD/CD combo drive must be installed in the computer. 2. When using diagnostics with a USB keyboard and mouse attached, you must first enable USB emulation. Restart the computer and press F1 to start the Configuration/Setup Utility program, (click Devices and I/O Ports → Internal Floppy Disk). To create an IBM Enhanced Diagnostics diskette from the Product Recovery program partition, complete the following steps: 1. Restart the computer. 2.
