Turn off the computer and all attached devices; then, disconnect all external cables and power cords. 3. Remove the side cover (see "Removing the side cover" on page 31). Removing the front adapter-retention bracket
To remove the front adapter-retention bracket, complete the following steps.
1.
Read the safety information that begins on page vii and “Installation guidelines”
on page 29.
2.
Turn off the computer and all attached devices; then, disconnect all external
cables and power cords.
3.
Remove the side cover (see “Removing the side cover” on page 31).
Note:
It might be helpful to lay the computer on its left side for the remainder of
this procedure.
