Make sure that there is no memory mismatch when the server is over the minimum memory configuration (one 512 MB DIMM) and that you have installed the correct number of DIMMs (see the User's Guide on the IBM System x3400 Documentation CD for information about installing memory modules). 5. Reseat the DIMMs. 6. Replace the following components one at a time, in the order shown, restarting the server each time: a. DIMMs b.
