Chapter 7 - Manage the Computer Install the Intermec CN51 SDK Add-on with the SDK Manager You use the Android SDK Manager to download and install the Intermec CN51 SDK add-on software on your development PC. You must install the Android SDK to use the SDK Manager. For more information, visit developer.android.com. Note: If you already downloaded the Intermec SDK add-on package from the Downloads page at www.intermec.com, unzip the package to a location on your development PC. However, to ensure you install the most recent version of the package, and for easy version control, Intermec recommends you install the package as described in this procedure. 1 On your development PC, start Android SDK Manager. 2 Click Tools > Manage Add-on Sites and then click the User-Defined Sites tab. 3 Click New. 4 Enter this text: http://sdk.android.intermec.com:60093/sdk/addon.xml t Note: If you downloaded the Intermec SDK add-on package from the Downloads page, enter the path to the addon.xml file on your PC, such as: file:////c:/users/myName/sdk/addon.xml 5 Click OK and then click Close. Install the Intermec CN51 SDK Add-on with the SDK Manager
You use the Android SDK Manager to download and install the
Intermec CN51 SDK add-on software on your development PC. You
must install the Android SDK to use the SDK Manager. For more
information, visit
developer.android.com
.

On your development PC, start Android SDK Manager.

Click
Tools > Manage Add-on Sites
and then click the
User-Defined Sites
tab.

Click
New
.

Enter this text:

OK
and then click
Close
. The Intermec CN51 SDK add-on is
added to the list of items for Android 4.1.2 (API16).

In the Android 4.1.2 section, select the packages you want to install,
including
Intermec CN51
.
Note:
