GS1 Composite Settings This section lists all configurable settings for decoding the GS1 Composite symbology. GS1 Composite Settings and Descriptions Setting Description GS1-128 emulation Enables or disables transmission of data encoded in the Composite symbol as if the data were encoded in one or more GS1 Composite/GS1-128 symbols. Default is disabled. Linear only transmit mode Enables or disables transmission of only the linear portion of the GS1 composite bar code. Default is disabled. EAN/UPC comp message decode Determines how to decode the two parts of the GS1 Composite bar code. Options include: • Never linked • Always linked • Auto-discriminate Unconventional GS1 Composite Enables or disables decoding of Unconventional GS1 Composite. Default is disabled. GS1 Composite Settings
This section lists all configurable settings for decoding the GS1
Composite symbology.
User defined
symbology ID
Sets the symbology ID for EAN-13. Range is 1 to 4
ASCII characters. \xFF is not supported.
Default is F.
Code mark
A one-character code mark that serves as an
identifier for EAN-13. Default is F.
