Chapter 7 - Manage the Computer Update Computers Using a Device Management System You can update multiple computers at the same time using a device management system. Several mobile device management sytems support the CN51 running Android, including Honeywell Remote MasterMind, Intermec Skynax, and other third-party solutions. Contact these suppliers for information about obtaining their agent or client software for use with the CN51. Update the System Software You can update the system software by copying the update file to the computer internal storage or to an installed microSD card. Then you can manually start the system update from the Settings app. Note: Do not unzip the software update file after you download the file. 1 Go to www.intermec.com and click Support > Downloads. 2 In the Or Locate Product section: a Select Computers in the Product Category list. b Select Handheld Computers in the Product Family list. c Select CN51 Mobile Computer in the Product list. 3 Click Submit. A list of downloads for the CN51 appears. 4 Locate the Android software update file and click the file name to download the file to your PC. You need to log in to download software. 5 Copy the software update file to the internal storage or to an installed microSD card on the CN51. Or, you can copy the file to a microSD card and then install the card in the computer. 6 Start the Settings app and tap About phone > System updates. 7 Tap the file name and then tap OK. Update Computers Using a Device Management System
You can update multiple computers at the same time using a device
management system. Several mobile device management sytems
support the CN51 running Android, including Honeywell Remote
MasterMind, Intermec Skynax, and other third-party solutions.
Contact these suppliers for information about obtaining their agent or
client software for use with the CN51.
Update the System Software
You can update the system software by copying the update file to the
computer internal storage or to an installed microSD card. Then you
can manually start the system update from the Settings app.

Go to
www.intermec.com
and click
Support > Downloads
.

In the
Or Locate Product
section:

in the Product Category list.

. A list of downloads for the CN51 appears.

Locate the Android software update file and click the file name to
download the file to your PC. You need to log in to download
software.

About phone > System updates
