Chapter 3 - Use the Scanner Planet Settings This section lists all configurable settings for decoding the Planet symbology. Planet Settings and Descriptions Setting Transmit check digit User defined symbology ID Code mark Description Enables or disables check digit transmission. Default is enabled. Sets the symbology ID for Planet. Range is 1 to 4 ASCII characters. \xFF is not supported. Default is P1. A one-character code mark that serves as an identifier for Planet. Default is *. Plessey Settings This section lists all configurable settings for decoding the Plessey symbology. Plessey Settings and Descriptions Setting Transmit check digit Unconventional stop User defined symbology ID Description Enables or disables check digit transmission. Default is disabled. Enables or disables decoding of Plessey bar codes that include variations (thicker or thinner bars) of the standard stop. Default is disabled. Sets the symbology ID for Plessey.
