Chapter 3 - Use the Scanner Telepen Settings This section lists all the configurable settings for decoding the Telepen symbology. Telepen Settings and Descriptions Setting Format User defined symbology ID Code mark Description Sets the format. Options include: • ASCII (default) • Numeric: Must be an even number of digits Sets the symbology ID for Telepen. Range is 1 to 4 ASCII characters. \xFF is not supported. Default is C6. A one-character code mark that serves as an identifier for telepen. Default is *. Telepen Length Mode Settings and Descriptions Setting Mode Length 1 Length 2 Length 3 Description Sets the length mode for Telepen decoding. Options include: • Length 1 minimum (default) • Lengths 1,2,3 fixed • Length 1 minimum, length 2 maximum Restricts the length of the bar code that the scanner will read. Range is 0 to 255.
