Job Virtual Mail Box With the Virtual mail box feature, mail boxes created on the hard disk are assigned to multiple users. Jobs posted to a virtual mail box can be printed later from the printing system's operation panel. Jobs saved in virtual mail boxes are automatically deleted after printing, and jobs that have not been printed are saved if the printing system is switched off. You must create and set up your mail boxes prior to using this feature. Note: The Virtual mail box feature is available when the printing system is set to emulate KPDL, PCL 5e, PCL XL, or PCL 5c. For information on emulation settings, refer to Page Description Language (PDL) on page 2-5. Create a virtual mail box by specifying a mail box name and number. The figure below illustrates the virtual mail box option. For further details, refer to Create Virtual Mail Boxes on page 8-9. Use the printer driver to select a virtual mail box for saving a job. Virtual Mail Box

Virtual mail box
feature, mail boxes created on the hard disk are assigned

printing system’s operation panel. Jobs saved in virtual mail boxes are automatically
