Setting the Shutter Mode and Speed The shutter speed in any shutter mode is set using the SHUTTER switch. In SYNCHRO SCAN/SYNCHRO SCAN2 mode, shutter speed can be switched easily, using the SYNCHRO SCAN adjustment buttons (+/-) on the side panel. Note that the range of selectable shutter speeds may be predefined; whether or not to use the SYNCHRO SCAN mode may be determined through the and screens.
