Do not use deter‐ gents. ► Clean the chain with a brush, a slightly damp‐ ened cloth or resin solvent. Do not use deter‐ gents. ► Do not use a pressure washer to clean the guide bar or chain or otherwise spray them with water or other liquids. 20.3 Cleaning the Air Filter Very fine dust can collect in the air filter and block proper air flow. To clean the air filter: ► Shut off the engine, 15.1. ► Engage the chain brake, 12.1. 0000097430_001 1 1 1 2 ► Turn the screws (1) counterclockwise until the shroud (2) can be removed. ► Remove the shroud. 5 6 4 3 ► Press the locking tab (3) forward and remove the air filter (4). ► If the air filter is damaged, replace it. 37 0000097432_001

Turn the screws (1) counterclockwise until the
shroud (2) can be removed.
Remove the shroud.

Press the locking tab (3) forward and remove
the air filter (4).
If the air filter is damaged, replace it.
