Working with Suspect Virus Quarantine 147 Accessing Suspect Virus Quarantine To search message envelope "To" recipient ◆ Type in the To box to search the message envelope RCPT TO: recipient in all messages for the text you typed. You can search for a display name, the user name portion of an email address, or any part of a display name or email user name. If you type a full email address in the To box, only the user name portion of [email protected] is searched for. The search is limited to the envelope To:, which may contain different information than the header To: displayed on the message details page. To search "from" headers ◆ Type in the From box to search the From: header in all messages for the text you typed. You can search for a display name, email address, or any part of a display name or email address. The search is limited to the visible message From: header, which in spam messages is usually forged. The visible message From: header may contain different information than the message envelope. To search subject headers ◆ Type in the Subject box to search the Subject: header in all messages for the text you typed. To search using time range ◆ Choose a time range from the Time Range list to show all messages from that time range. Search details Note the following search behavior: ■ All text searches match any instance of the term you type whether it occurs by itself, as a word or part of word or phrase. For example, if you typed finance into the Subject box, messages with the following subject lines would all be displayed in the search results: Finance Refinance your Mortgage Have you REFINANCED Yet? ■ Wildcards such as * are not supported in search. All searches are literal. You don't have to put quote marks around search text that contains spaces. ■ All text searches are case-insensitive, which means that, for example, if you typed emerson in the From box then messages with a From header
