13.2.3 Option 82 Config The switch can propagate the control information and the network parameters via the Option 82 field to provide more information for the Host. When the DHCP option 82 feature is enabled on the switch, a host is identified by the switch port through which it connects to the network (in addition to its MAC address). The DHCP option 82 feature is supported only when DHCP snooping is globally enabled. Enable or disable the switch to define the Option 82 sub-option Circuit ID field. With Disable selected, configure VLAN ID and port number from which the packet is received as the circuit ID default value. 204
