Advanced Functions Playing various musical instrument sounds (Voices) In addition to the wonderfully realistic piano sounds, you can select and play other musical instrument sounds (Voices), such as organ or stringed instruments. Selecting Voices [VARIATION] Voice buttons (CLP-470/440/S408/S406) Select the desired Voice by pressing one of the Voice buttons. Try playing the keyboard and listening to the sound. [VARIATION] 470 440 430 S408 S406 465GP Lets you call up an alternate version of the selected Voice. Pressing the [VARIATION] or selected Voice button toggles the variation on and off. The lamp lights when [VARIATION] is enabled. Refer to "Preset Voice List" on page 64 for more information on the characteristics of each variation. NOTE The loudness of the Voice changes depending on how hard you play the keyboard; however, for certain Voices there is little or no effect. Refer to "Touch Response" in the "Preset Voice List" (page 64). Listening to the Voice Demo Songs To familiarize yourself with the characteristics of the Voices, listen to the Demo Songs for each Voice. In addition to the wonderfully realistic piano sounds, you can select and play other musical instrument
sounds (Voices), such as organ or stringed instruments.
Select the desired Voice by pressing one of the Voice buttons. Try playing the
keyboard and listening to the sound.
Lets you call up an alternate version of the selected Voice. Pressing the
[VARIATION] or selected Voice button toggles the variation on and off. The
