Layering two Voices Dual mode

Turning transpose on or off Each time you press the [TRANSPOSE] button, transpose turns on or off. When the lamp is flashing, the function is on. When it is off or the transposition amount is 0, the lamp does not flash. NOTE Audio Song playback cannot be transposed. Layering two Voices (Dual mode) This function lets you layer and play two different Voices at the same time. You can layer Voices of two different categories or two different Voices in the same category, and create a composite Voice of greater richness and texture. 12 1. Call up the Dual mode. Press two Voice buttons at the same time. The Voice indicators of both selected Voices will light when the Dual mode is active. Try playing the keyboard and listen to the resulting sound. Voice 1/ Voice 2 According to the Voice numbering priority shown on the right, the lower value Voice number will be designated as Voice 1, and the other Voice as Voice 2. Exit the Dual mode and return to normal play mode. To return to the normal single-Voice play mode, press any single Voice button. (CLP-470/440/S408/S406) [VARIATION] in Dual Mode The [VARIATION] button's indicator will light if the variation is engaged for either or both of the Dual mode Voices. While Dual mode is called up, the [VARIATION] button can be used to turn the variation for both Voices on or off. To turn the variation on or off for only one of the Voices, hold the Voice button for the other Voice and press the button of the Voice for which you want to change the variation. [REVERB] in Dual Mode An optimum reverb type for the combination of Voices is assigned automatically. [EFFECT] in Dual Mode Depending on the conditions, one effect type will take priority over the other. To change the effect depth, press the [-/NO] or [+/YES] button while holding the [EFFECT] button. Playing various musical instrument sounds (Voices)
Turning transpose on or off
Each time you press the [TRANSPOSE] button, transpose turns on or off. When
the lamp is flashing, the function is on. When it is off or the transposition
amount is 0, the lamp does not flash.
This function lets you layer and play two different Voices at the same time. You can layer Voices of two
different categories or two different Voices in the same category, and create a composite Voice of greater
richness and texture.

Call up the Dual mode.
Press two Voice buttons at the same time. The Voice indicators of both
selected Voices will light when the Dual mode is active.
Try playing the keyboard and listen to the resulting sound.

[VARIATION] in Dual Mode
The [VARIATION] button’s
indicator will light if the variation is

Dual mode Voices. While Dual

[VARIATION] button can be used

Voices on or off. To turn the
