NOTICE Do not turn off the power of the instrument when "CLr" appears in the display. Doing so may delete all Song data in the instrument, including external Songs (page 29). Displayed when Musicsoft Downloader is started on a computer connected to the instrument. When this message appears, you cannot operate the instrument. Displayed when the character code (page 60) is not appropriate for the file name of the Song which you are selecting. Switch the character code. Displayed when the data format is not compatible with this instrument, or the data has some other problems. This Song cannot be selected. Displayed when no USB storage devices can be found, or a problem has occurred in the USB storage device. Disconnect and connect the device again, then execute the operation. If this message appears repeatedly even when there aren't any other likely problems, the USB storage device may be damaged. Displayed when the backup data cannot be loaded. There is no backup data which can be loaded, or the data may be damaged. Indicates that the USB storage device or media is protected. Displayed when the memory of the USB storage device becomes full, or the number of files and folders exceeds the system limit. Displayed when conversion to audio, Audio Song playback or recording has failed. If you are using a USB storage device to which data has already been stored or deleted a number of times, first make sure that the device does not contain important data, then format it (page 44) and connect to the instrument again. A malfunction has occurred in the instrument. Contact your nearest Yamaha dealer or authorized distributor. Displayed when the current operation is completed. The memory of the instrument or the USB storage device is running out. We recommend that you remove any unnecessary files (pages 37, 43) to ensure sufficient memory capacity before start recording. Indicates that internal memory is being cleaned up. Panel settings, recorded Songs and external Songs which have been stored to the USER MIDI drive are being cleared, because the power has been turned off before the Save, Load or Convert operations were completed. NOTICE Do not turn off the power of the instrument when "FCL" appears in the display. Indicates that the instrument is going to call up the Format operation for the USB storage device. Since the memory of the instrument or the USB storage device is insufficient, the operation could not be completed. If this message appears during recording, the performance data may not be recorded properly. Confirms whether each operation is executed or not. Reconfirms whether the overwriting, delete or format operation is executed or not. Displayed when you try to overwrite or delete a protected Song or read-only file. Use a read-only file after cancelling the read-only setting. Displayed when you canceled conversion to audio. Displayed when an unformatted USB storage device is connected. First make sure that the device does not contain important data, then format it (page 44). Communication with the USB device has been shut down because of overcurrent to the USB device. Disconnect the device from the [USB TO DEVICE] terminal, then turn on the power of the instrument again. Communication with the USB device has failed. Remove the USB device and make the connection again. If the message appears even when the USB device is connected properly, the device may be damaged. This USB device is not supported on this instrument, or too many USB devices may have been connected. Message
Meaning
CLr
Initializing the instrument to the default setting.
NOTICE
Do not turn off the power of the instrument when “CLr” appears in the display. Doing so may delete all Song data in the
instrument, including external Songs (page 29).
con
Displayed when Musicsoft Downloader is started on a computer connected to the instrument. When this message
appears, you cannot operate the instrument.
E01
Displayed when the character code (
page 60
) is not appropriate for the file name of the Song which you are
selecting. Switch the character code.
Displayed when the data format is not compatible with this instrument, or the data has some other problems. This
Song cannot be selected.
Displayed when no USB storage devices can be found, or a problem has occurred in the USB storage device.
Disconnect and connect the device again, then execute the operation. If this message appears repeatedly even
when there aren't any other likely problems, the USB storage device may be damaged.
