Chapter 4 The Web Configurator The following table describes the links in the navigation panel. Table 3 Navigation Panel Links LINK DESCRIPTION System Status System Information Use these screens to view general system information such as firmware version, IP address and so on. Basic Settings General Settings Use these screens to configure the system name, IP address, maximum frame size, and system time settings. MAC Management Use these screens to configure static MAC address settings and view the MAC table. Port Mirroring Use this screen to copy traffic from one port or ports to another port in order that you can examine the traffic from the first port without interference. Port Settings Use this screen to enable/disable a port, configure the port speed and duplex and flow control, and view the current connection status. Advanced Settings VLAN Port Isolation Use this screen to isolate each port from communicating with each other. Each port can only communicate with the CPU management port. VLAN Use these screens to create new IEEE 802.1Q VLANs as well as configuring Port VLAN ID (PVID), tag/untag, and acceptable frame settings. EEE Use this screen to enable/disable Energy Efficient Ethernet on each port. IGMP Snooping Use this screen to configure multicast related settings such as IGMP Snooping, IGMP Snooping VLAN, unknown multicast packet handling, and immediate leave ports. Link Aggregation Uses these screens to logically aggregate physical links to form one logical, higher-bandwidth link. Loop Guard Use this screen to configure protection against network loops that occur on the edge of your network. QoS Use these screens to configure 802.1p priority, IP Diffserv (DSCP), queuing method with associated queue weights and priority/queue mapping for the Switch. Storm Control Use this screen to cap the rate of broadcast, multicast and destination lookup failure (DLF) packets the Switch will allow on individual ports. STP Use these screens to configure the STP/RSTP to prevent network loops. Security IP Source Guard DHCP Snooping Use these screens to configure filtering of unauthorized DHCP packets in your network. ARP Inspection Use these screens to configure filtering of unauthorized ARP packets in your network.
