Table 16 Universal Repeater Mode: Wireless LAN > Universal Repeater: Static WEP LABEL DESCRIPTION Universal Repeater Parameters Enable Select this option to have the WAP3205 connect to the specified access point. SSID Enter the name of the access point to which you are connecting. MAC Address (Optional) Enter the MAC address of the access point to which you are connecting. Security Mode Select Static WEP if the access point to which you want to connect uses WEP data encryption. Encryption Type Select Open or Shared Key from the drop-down list box. This field specifies whether the wireless clients have to provide the WEP key to log into the wireless network. Keep this setting at Open unless you want to force a key verification before communication between the wireless client and the ZyXEL Device occurs. WEP Key WEP Default Key Select Shared Key to force the clients to provide the WEP key prior to communication. Select a default WEP key to use for data encryption. 40 WAP3205 User's Guide
