Table 25 Wireless Security: WEP LABEL DESCRIPTION Wireless Network Name (SSID) Enter a descriptive name (up to 32 printable 7-bit ASCII characters) for the wireless LAN. If you change this field on the WAP3205, make sure all wireless stations use the same SSID in order to access the network. Security mode Choose WEP security to enable data encryption using WEP keys. WEP Encryption Select 64-bits or 128-bits. This dictates the length of the security key that the network is going to use. Authentication Method Select Open or Shared Key from the drop-down list box. This field specifies whether the wireless clients have to provide the WEP key to login to the wireless client. Default Key Select Shared Key to force the clients to provide the WEP key prior to communication. Otherwise, select Open.
