STITCH SETTINGS SCREEN STITCH SETTINGS SCREEN After creating the pattern drawing data (.pm9) in the drawing screen (page 161), you will have an opportunity to: • Check and change the stitch settings for each line and region. • Save the pattern drawing data (.pm9). • Convert the data to an embroidery pattern (.phx), proceed to the embroidery edit screen, and/or save the embroidery pattern. Specifying Individual Stitch Settings Select a pattern in the stitch settings screen to specify its line and region stitch settings. If multiple patterns are selected, the settings are applied to those patterns.  Line Settings Candlewicking Stitch [Size] [Spacing] Increases/reduces the size of the stitch. Specifies the spacing of the stitch. Chain stitch [Size] Increases/reduces the size of the stitch. [Thickness] Sets repeated embroidering at the same part. E stitch [Stitch width] Increases/reduces the size of the pattern. [Spacing] Specifies the spacing of the E stitch. [Thickness] [Flip] Sets repeated embroidering at the same part. Specifies if the decorative line shows up inside or outside. V stitch 1 width] [Stitch Increases/reduces the size of the pattern. 2 [Spacing] Specifies the spacing of the V stitch. [Thickness] Sets repeated embroidering at the same part. [Flip] Specifies if the decorative line shows up 3 inside or outside. 1 Select the line to be changed. 2 Shows the stitch type and color for the selected line. 3 Shows the stitch settings for the selected line. Line stitch settings Select the type of stitching you want applied to your line art. Zigzag stitch [Zigzag width] [Density] Specifies the width of the stitch. Specifies the density of the stitch. Motif stitch [Size] [Spacing] [Flip] Increases/reduces the size of the pattern. Specifies the spacing of the motif stitch. Specifies if the decorative line shows up inside or outside.  Region Settings Running stitch /Triple stitch 1 * Both includes an under sewing.
