2-8 Compaq Storage Hub 12 Management Utilities Hardware and Software User Guide Network Traffic Tab The second tab is the Network Traffic tab, shown in the figure below. This window shows overall utilization and has a diagnostic function as well. Figure 2-6. Network Traffic tab of Display Network View Network Utilization Meter The speedometer-like meter on the upper left corner of this window displays a graphical presentation of the loop utilization that is updated every few seconds. The Reset Utilization button, when clicked, causes the utilization to be updated immediately. The Loop Utilization Alert The Loop Utilization Alert permits the user to set a percentage of utilization, which sets off an alarm when that percentage is exceeded. This alert is in the form of a Trap, which is sent to the Trap Management Station. The alarm set point can be set by clicking on the Set Alarm Percentage button. From this window, the alert can be disabled or the percentage of utilization can be set.

Network Utilization Meter
