Click the Bypass Control check box by the appropriate port number to check or uncheck the Bypass control box. This box toggles between Set and Cancel for this field. 2. Click OK or Cancel at the message. From the physical device panel Port Context Menu: 1. Right click over the port of choice in the Device View. The Port Context Menu will display. 2. Click Force bypass port, or Enable port to set or cancel this option. 3. Click OK or Cancel at the informational message. The Status field can change to represent the state of the port following the setting or canceling of port bypass control. If the port is enabled, that port has a properly operating Fibre Channel device connected to it and the port has not had its force bypass control set. If the port is bypassed, the port has had its Force Bypass control set, or else no properly operating Fibre Channel device has been connected to the port (as determined by the device). Show Port Properties To view all of the port information from the Expanded Device View, click on the Ports tab. Alternately, in Device View, right click over any port and select Port Details. Verify Port Status To verify a port's status, from Expanded Device View: 1. Click the Ports tab. 2. Verify the status for the port number in question. Check Firmware Versions From Expanded Device View, click the Service tab. In this view, firmware revisions of the agent and the device controller can be checked.

had its force bypass control set. If the port is bypassed, the port has had its
Force Bypass control set, or else no properly operating Fibre Channel device
has been connected to the port (as determined by the device).
Show Port Properties
To view all of the port information from the
Expanded Device View
, click on

Ports
tab. Alternately, in
Device View
, right click over any port and select
Port Details
.
Verify Port Status
To verify a port’s status, from
Expanded Device View
:
1.
Click the
Ports
tab.
2.
Verify the
status
for the port number in question.
Check Firmware Versions
From
Expanded Device View
, click the
Service
tab. In this view, firmware
revisions of the agent and the device controller can be checked.
