Identification - This section of the tab provides descriptions, model numbers, and serial numbers for the selected device and its associated boards. Fibre Channel Topology Parameters - This section gives Ethernet and Fibre Channel the following connectivity information: Master Device IP Address - the Ethernet address through which this device receives management requests and port information that is relevant to HMU. Port Count - The number of ports on the selected device. Inter-Hub ID - The ID sequentially assigned starting at 1 as managed devices get added to the topology Parent Inter-Hub ID - The Inter-Hub ID of the device connected to the Uplink Port. This is not applicable to master devices. Parent Port - This is the Downlink Port on a parent device to which this cascaded device is connected via a cable. This is not applicable to master devices. Uplink Port - The Uplink Port is on the cascaded device to which the parent is connected via a cable. This is not applicable to master devices. Contact and Location - These fields identify who is responsible for the device and where they can be found. These two fields can be edited directly on this tab. The Environment Tab You can click over a Fan, Voltage, or Temperature box or click the Environment tab to display the Environment dialog box. The Environment tab displays three panes.
