A Appendix Network Management Overview This chapter provides an overview about the Compaq Storage Hub 12 Management Utilities and how they interact with the different parts of the storage area network system. These utilities enable communication between an entire network of devices with a single Ethernet connection and one Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) management station (see the section, "Simple Network Management Protocol").
