Fluke 125 Users Manual Replacing and Disposing of the Rechargeable Battery Pack Warning To avoid electrical shock, remove the test leads and probes before replacing the battery pack. Note This instrument contains Ni-MH batteries. Do not dispose of this battery pack with other solid waste. Used batteries should be disposed of by a qualified recycler or hazardous materials handler. Contact your authorized FLUKE Service Center for recycling information. To replace the battery pack, do the following: (See Figure 8-2.) 1. Disconnect the test leads and probes both at the source and at the test tool. 2. Disconnect the Power Adapter. 3. Locate the battery access cover on the bottom rear. Loosen the screw with a flat-blade screwdriver. 8-4 Figure 8-2. Replacing the Battery Pack 4. Lift the battery access cover away from the test tool. 5. Take the battery pack out of the battery compartment. 6. Remove the battery plug from the connector. 7. Install a new battery pack.

Replacing and Disposing of the
Rechargeable Battery Pack
Warning
To avoid electrical shock, remove the test
leads and probes before replacing the battery
pack.
Note
This instrument contains Ni-MH batteries. Do not
dispose of this battery pack with other solid
waste. Used batteries should be disposed of by a
qualified recycler or hazardous materials handler.
Contact your authorized FLUKE Service Center
for recycling information.
To replace the battery pack, do the following: (See Figure
8-2.)
1.
Disconnect the test leads and probes both at the source
and at the test tool.
2.
Disconnect
the Power Adapter.
3.
Locate the battery access cover on the bottom rear.
Loosen the screw with a flat-blade screwdriver.

Lift the battery access cover away from the test tool.
5.
Take the battery pack out of the battery compartment.
6.
Remove the battery plug from the connector.
7.
Install a new battery pack.
