If the size returned is 0 kbytes, there is no LUN 0 created for that logical SCSI bus. Determining LUN numbers from the hardware path LUN numbers can be determined by using the last three segments of the VSA hardware path, which represent the 14-bit volume number. The bits of the volume number are encoded as shown in Figure 82.
