Install the battery. Ⅲ Remove the battery from its packaging. Ⅲ Press up on the bottom part of the battery cover with your thumb and slide the cover upward to remove it from the back of the phone. Ⅲ Insert the battery into the opening in the back of the phone, making sure the connectors align. Gently press down to secure the battery. 2. Press and hold on the right side of the phone to turn the phone on. Ⅲ If your phone is activated, it will turn on, search for Sprint service, and enter standby mode. Ⅲ If your phone is not yet activated, see "Activating Your Phone" on page 3 for more information. 3. Make your first call. Ⅲ Press to display the dial pad. Setting Up Your Phone
1.
Install the battery.

Remove the battery from its packaging.
²
Press up on the bottom part of the battery cover
with your thumb and slide the cover upward to
remove it from the back of the phone.
²
Insert the battery into the opening in the back of
the phone, making sure the connectors align.
Gently press down to secure the battery.
