To enable it, unplug it and plug it in again. Because of the CD-ROM drive property settings, your computer might not enter suspend mode or hibernation mode after the end of a timeout period specified in the ThinkPad Configuration program. If you want to use suspend mode and hibernation mode, change the properties of the CD-ROM drive as follows: 1. Click on Start and move the cursor to Settings and Control Panel. Then click on Control Panel. 2. Double-click on System. 3. Click on the Device Manager tab, and double-click on CD-ROM. 4.
